Favors for Favors for Friends are a series of four messages the that can be found scattered around Val Royeaux's Summer Bazaar. Obtaining the first note initiates the side quest A Friend of Red Jenny.

The upper market is separated from the main area. It requires fast travel to get there. You have to click on one of the doors and use the triggers to bring up level two of the map. The next object is in the corner of the right side of the map, close to the cafe.

As the player, you can attempt to role-play a polyamorous character to an extent, but none of the NPCs will reciprocate. You can flirt with as many characters as you wish (subject to their preferences), but as you complete storyline milestones, multiple suitors may confront you and ask you to make a choice.

For a first run, I have to recommend the Mages. Siding with the Mages leads you on a quest that involves meeting Dorian, one of the companion units, and a plot that uses magic with Time Travel. It's one of the best segments of the game… and you can completely miss it by choosing to side with the Templars.

A Friend of Red Jenny is triggered as you walk away from the first major cut scene in Val Royeaux. As you walk away from the plaza, an arrow will be shot into the street near you. Examine it to read a letter, thus triggering the quest. The quest tasks you to search three areas for red objects.

Playing Too Fast

Side quests are not everyone's favorite thing when it comes to RPGs. Many players prefer to play the main story and go through the story to finish the game, but that's not always the best idea. Speeding through Inquisition is something that should be avoided.

Dragon Age: Inquisition has diverse romance options with both same-sex and opposite-sex choices available for players to explore. Players may gravitate towards characters they connect with the most, like Iron Bull, whose engaging personality makes him a top romance choice.

In Hushed Whispers

No companion really stands out for this quest—they all have things to say. Though it might be worth noting that your conversation with Blackwall is the longest out of all of them. If you want gloom, Cassandra, Vivienne, Blackwall, and Solas can provide that.

Morrigan chooses her son and instead offers her own body to Flemeth in order to spare him. Moved by Morrigan's love for her son, Flemeth takes the Old God soul from Kieran but otherwise leaves him be.

Siding with the Mages leads to a more interesting quest line and unique rewards for Mage characters. Deciding to side with the Templars offers benefits for Warrior builds and approval from more party members.
